finalists for the inaugural 2011 Intel Innovation Award as
part of the 2011 Health IT leadership Summit that took place in
Atlanta. Premier Anesthesia was recognized for its technology
initiative in developing teleanesthesia, a revolutionary leap
forward in the anesthesia service realm. The Intel Innovation award
recognizes the development of cutting-edge technology and
exceptional innovation to improve healthcare delivery and
processes.
The 2011 Health IT Summit placed a special emphasis on
innovation, with the presentation of the inaugural Intel Innovation
Award. The Award recognizes the health IT companies who use
technology in innovative ways. With attendance records of upwards

Summit rates as one of the nation's foremost health IT events in

the current nationwide shortage of anesthesiologists. Rural
