Premier Anesthesia has established a new partnership to manage anestheisa services at Women's Christian Association Hospital, a 311 bed facility in Jamestown, New York.

Norb Hummel, Executive Vice President, Operations for Premier Anesthesia, remarked on the WCA/Premier partnership. "We are enthusiastic about partnering with the medical staff, administration and employees of WCA Hospital. We have a mutual goal of continuing to provide the excellent healthcare WCA has been offering to the people of Chautauqua County for 125 years, while raising the bar," Hummel said.

Premier Anesthesia's partnershuip with WCA began in September, 2010. Together, WCA and Premier are currently working through the transition, meeting with the anesthesia staff, surgeons, administration and OR staff, to ensure Premier's plan for the anesthesia department is in alignment with the hospital's vision, mission and goals. A Peri-Operative Task Force has been implemented to draft the plan, which will set OR and Anesthesia Services goals for 2011 and outline strategies and tactics to meet those goals.
