Premier Anesthesia CRNA awarded with Rising Star in Nurse Anesthesia Award
MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Brittany Jones, a Premier Anesthesia CRNA at Baptist Medical Center East in Montgomery, Ala., was presented with the Rising Star in Nurse Anesthesia Award from The University of Alabama at Birmingham last month. The award recognizes a nurse anesthesia graduate who has graduated within the last five years and demonstrates excellence as a clinical practitioner.
She was nominated by her colleague and former professor, Todd Hicks, DNP, CRNA.
Additionally, the award recipient promotes quality healthcare and safety to their patients and families and contributes to the nurse anesthesia profession.
“Brittany is inquisitive and always willing to go the extra mile. Her motivation and true passion for the profession and anesthesia is everything you could want from a recent graduate. Like the award says, she is in fact a star, and deserves recognition for her work,” said Jim Harper, MD, Anesthesia Medical Director at Baptist Medical Center East.
