Regional Medical Director  

Dr. Rhet Langley, MD is a dual board-certified anesthesiologist and pain medicine specialist with more than a decade of leadership and clinical experience in both military and civilian healthcare settings.

A graduate of the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where Dr. Langley served as Chief Resident, he began his career on active duty with the United States Air Force. During his service, he deployed to Afghanistan as Chief Anesthesiologist with the 966th Forward Surgical Team.

Dr. Langley joined Premier Anesthesia in 2014 at its flagship practice in Montgomery, Alabama. Since then, he has held multiple executive leadership roles, including Regional Medical Director, across Premier sites in Alabama and beyond. He currently serves as Vice Chief of Anesthesia at Baptist Medical Center South, where he leads initiatives focused on perioperative medicine, clinical efficiency, and team development.

Dr. Langley’s clinical expertise spans the full spectrum of anesthesia care, including trauma, obstetric, and regional anesthesia. He is highly skilled in ultrasound-guided nerve blocks (UGNB), multimodal pain management, and advanced perioperative optimization strategies.
